About Us

Madi Doro Designed is an Australian handmade clothing label created by me, Madison Dorotich.

Every piece is handmade by myself, with a focus on small-batch and one-off garments, alongside made-to-order designs that are produced slowly and intentionally. Each collection is created to feel limited, considered, and individual, not mass-produced.

A key part of the brand is working with deadstock, recycled, and repurposed materials where possible, giving existing fabrics a new life through design.

Collections range from ready-made pieces to more exclusive drops like One of a Kind and Limited Edition, each reflecting a balance of structure, detail, and wearable design.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship worldwide. Delivery times vary by location but generally range from 7–14 business days.

Please note that international orders may experience delays due to customs processing, which is outside of our control.

Customs, Duties & Taxes (Important)

International customers (including the United States) may be required to pay import duties, taxes, or customs fees upon arrival. These charges are determined by your country’s customs office and are not included in our prices.

For US orders, this is typically around 10% of the order value, though additional carrier processing fees may apply. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.

How do I care for my garment?

We recommend gentle care such as hand washing or delicate cycles, especially for pieces made with unique or recycled materials. Specific care instructions will be included with your item.

In many cases, yes! Feel free to reach out before ordering to discuss custom sizing or small adjustments.

Are your materials sustainable?

We prioritise using recycled, reused, and thoughtfully sourced materials wherever possible as part of our commitment to sustainability.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Ready-made items may be eligible for exchange (depending on condition), but made-to-order pieces are generally final sale. Please check our return policy or contact us if unsure.

What’s the difference between ready-made and made-to-order?

Ready-made items are already created and ready to ship. Made-to-order pieces are crafted after purchase and custom adjustments can be made so they take a little longer but allow for a more personalised fit and finish.

How long does made-to-order take?

Made-to-order garments typically take 1–3 weeks to be created before shipping. Timeframes may vary depending on the complexity of the design.

    Made-to-order garments without custom changes may be eligible for a return or exchange under the following conditions:

    • The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags
    • A request must be made within 7 days of delivery
    • The item must be returned within 14 days of approval

    Please note:

    • Customised or altered made-to-order pieces are final sale
    • We do not offer refunds for change of mind, but exchanges or store credit may be offered
  • Ready-Made Pieces

    We accept exchanges on ready-made items under the following conditions:

    • The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags
    • A request must be made within 7 days of delivery
    • The item must be returned within 14 days of approval
  • Faulty or Incorrect Items

    If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and details. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.

    • We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for lost returns
